The University of Miami evaluated SlimWeight™ on its mechanism to target body weight relative to placebo. The data demonstrates that consumption of SlimWeight™ 250 mg twice daily was more effective in reducing body weight than placebo within 2 weeks and continuing up to 4 weeks without restricting calorie intake or increasing exercise. The increase in CCK associated with 250 mg SlimWeight™ treatment was physiologically significant in promoting satiety since increases in CCK levels have previously been correlated to a decline in the ratings of hunger, desire to eat and an increase in the rating of fullness. In summary, a dose of (250) mg SlimWeight™ consumed 45 minutes prior to a meal was capable of promoting a greater extent of fullness, attenuating the feeling of hunger and desire to eat and reducing estimated prospective food consumption in healthy humans.
